... is a centre of excellence, providing quality support service to women and families in East London.
We offer education and
training, childcare provision and youth development programmes at our
resource centre in Forest Gate.
Our core specialisms in childcare, education and family support for women in
violent relationships, are issues which drive us to provide appropriate
services and, where necessary, work with partner agencies to ensure that
individuals acquire the relevant resources which will enable them to realise
their potential.
ELBWO was founded in 1979
to deal with issues which affect black families in the Borough of Newham
i.e. isolation, poor housing and education.
