WORK EXPERIENCE & VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME

In addition to the adult education and training programmes ELBWO has supported the training offered by other local providers through its work placement and volunteer programme. The scheme provides valuable work based learning for adults and young people needing practical experience in a particular field of work. In return voluntary workers have made and continue to make a valuable contribution to the development of ELBWO’s projects. Volunteers benefit from the opportunity of working in a multi – disciplinary organisation that provides them with the knowledge and experience to make informed decisions in defining their career paths. If you feel that you can devote some free time, or are required to undertake a placement, ELBWO needs volunteers to:
 

• Help with our newsletter.

• Help with research.

• Support Saturday School.

• Help with the Playscheme & After School Club.

• Fundraise.
